HOW TO PLAY THE GAMES AT KILLA BALLA

The Cano
A nutmeg (or tunnel or panna) is a technique used in football in which a player plays the ball through an opponent’s legs. This can be whilst passing to another player, shooting or occasionally to carry on and retrieve it himself. Usually we hear the shout ‘Ole!’ when this is done.


Details:

• The pitch will be shortened for a 1 on 1 contest.
• Cones will be used to set up goalposts, “street style.”
• There will be 2 players going head to head in a 7 minute match.
• The objective is to complete a match with the most number of goals or a CANO.
• Referees will be on hand to mediate the match. (fouls, goal record, etc)
• There will a list of participants whose name will be listed on a “WALL” and struck off as soon as they get knocked out.
• It is a knock-out format, you lose, YOU’RE OUT!
• Registration will remain open until a stipulated cut off time.
• Each time you get knocked out but believe you deserve another chance, just re-register your name on the wall for a fee and get back in contention before the cut-off time. Let’s see how determined you are OR will you crumble upon seeing your name struck off the WALL a few times? Remember Street Ballers never give up!
• Last One standing (based on number of wins, total points) will be hailed as “Cano King” and win designated prizes.

King of 5s – the Open Challenge
This is an open contest for everyone who comes to take part or just watch.
Simply form teams of 5 and put your name down to play ala snooker

Details:

• Open Tournament: Any team of 5 can take part.
• Register before the stipulated cut off time and put your name up on the “WALL” and simply wait for your turn.
• Each team must comprise of 4 outfield players and 1 Goalkeeper.
• Each match will be governed by the standard football rules. (See attached.)
• A referee will be mediating the matches.
• A match will last 10mins or 2 goals, whichever comes first.
• There is NO half-time.
• In the event of a draw, immediate sudden death penalty kicks will be taken until we have a winner.
The team that records the most win by closing will be handed Caps that shouts “KING OF THE CAGE.”
