Futsal Bonding Camp 10/11

I'm sure you guys are anticipating for the upcoming camp right now. It's just around the corner. This is the time to learn that our Futsal Club is not all about kicking balls, but also to experience fun and at the same time, bond with your fellow club members.

Futsal Camp 10/11 form submission

Guys, submit your camp indemnity form by Monday, 24th May 2010 to Mr Treasurer, Khai. Along with it is the $15 camp fees. No money, no camp for you.

updates!

Guys, hope you had an awesome break from school but sadly, i have to say that tomorrow marks the first day of a new year in poly life. And with everything new, we got new recruitment drive for the new poly intakes.

The CCA Fiesta booth will commence from 10am till 6pm on both Monday and Tuesday.
Those scheduled to take care of the booth, please be stationed there.
At all times, there must be at least one person to take care of the booth.
Tag someone else if you need to go.
And to those who are free and want to drop by and help out, please do so.

Freshies who signed up with us will go through a trial session next Monday(26/04/10) and Wednesday(28/04/10). Do come down to assist us in this. Expecting a full attendance to help us recruit better players to our team.

And lastly, I bet you guys are still in holiday mood. So this coming Wednesday(21/04/10), we will be having a kick about session at the usual place at 5pm. Do turn up. Polish up those rusted legs of yours and let's kick some balls!!

Changes to Training dates

Teen Games 2010


We will be sending 4-5 teams for this event. Details are yet to be confirmed. If you are interested, form up your team and let Isham know before the closing registration date. And we're joining the U-21 Men's category. No more kids division. :D

Outings!

Since common test is all over, throw away your books and let's enjoy our holidays!(:

Sentosa Outing
Hope you guys haven't forget our Sentosa outing this coming Tuesday, 22nd December.
IT IS CONFIRMED!
Meeting time is at 10am, at Sentosa train station @ Vivocity Level 3.
Attendance is compulsory; for those not coming WITH valid reasons, contact Isham immediately.
Those who are going, please leave a tag at the tagboard.
Outing is still on no matter what the weather will turn out to be.
If it shines, we'll head down to Sentosa.
If it rains, we'll go for movies or conduct some other indoor activities .
Therefore, reminder to each bring AT LEAST $12 bucks: $8 for movie, the rest for meal.
You will have to bring your own equipments, like mats and other necessities.

Futsal FICO Outing
Outing is confirmed, on the Monday (28/12).
It'll be held at Fico sports hub, and we'll be breathing with the soccer ball for the whole day. (not really :D)
Each person to pay around $7.
We'll be playing at around 12 noon (timing is negotiable).
Meeting at 11.15am @ Boon Lay Interchange.
Girls are to be present also, as we're looking into mixing the girls and guys while playing. (:

Relay System
We've mentioned the Relay System to you all during our AGM meeting.
It's now ready to be implied with effect from now.
Basically, following the tree graph below, (click to enlarge)
pass down information that has been sent to you by text from the person above you.
There are three contact numbers missing on the relay system (Rasyid, Jin Zhou, Haji).
So if anyone knows any of these numbers, please leave a tag on the tagboard also, or call Isham to inform regarding the issue.
Also, if anyone's number is not stated correctly, or you've made changes to your phone number, do inform Isham.

Aftermath

A great deal of housekeeping matters were furnished during our AGM held on the 9th December 2009. With more ground rules placed, new batch of committee members elected, we're hoping for the club to escalate to a higher level. Let's keep expanding our club, making it a part of our life, not just a CCA.
The following are what we discussed during the AGM and are to be taken with effect from next term.

  • Attendance has to be 90% and above if not no CCA points will be given. Meaning, maximum of 2 times absence in one semester. If unable to attend training due to various reasons,you MUST report at the futsal court and inform the president.

  • Report at Cheers for further announcement if weather disallows training to be carried on. DO NOT go home first without any instructions given from the president.

  • EVERY MEMBER to donate $2 a month to the club fund. The money collected will be used for future club needs.

  • NP-FUTSAL OPEN. A league open to Futsal members and outsiders that will go on throughout the semester. Teams are to pay a rough amount of $20. Champion team will receive 30% of the whole registration fee. Further details and updates will be confirmed on a later date.

  • Coming club outings:
    Sentosa outing on the 22th December. Just a day to slack, have fun and enjoy by the beach with the whole club.
    Fico mini competition on the 28th December. It's time to polish up your skills during the holidays to prepare yourself further for the new semester.

  • Street Soccer Frenzy on the 19th December, organised by PeiYi. Do support our fellow teammate in her I&E event by forming up teams and participate in the event. The registration fee will only be $5 per person, so do kindly take part. Committee members are to officiate the competition.

  • Making of club Jersey.
    Everyone will definitely be looking forward to the purchasing of club jerseys. It's currently set at     Red as the base colour with white stripes. 'NPFUTSAL' will be printed behind with a number. Numbers will be given by the committee.

  • Player of the Month award.
    This prestigious award will be given to the most outstanding member for the month. A plague will be given to you as token for shining during training and other areas but is to return at the end of the month. But if you're named 3 times a row, the     plague will be yours to keep forever. So do train hard perform well and that plague will be within your grasp.

  • NP Futsal Committee members 2010

    Secretary – Govintharam
    Treasurer – Khairul Azfar
    Project head and publicity – Muhammad Syahabuddin

    This group of people are the newly elected members of the Futsal Committee. They will be the people running the club from now on. Do cooperate with them and if there's anything they'll be the man to look for.

Let's look forward to a new era of the Futsal Club. Bring up our name, make it known to the school, and expand this club and achieve a greater goal. More importantly, make Futsal Club a part of your sweet memories as you step out of NP. Cheers!(:
